Abstract

Poslovanje narodnih knjižnica se rijetko sagledava u kontekstu rizika bilo da se radi o prirodnim katastrofama, rizicima poslovanja ili nekoj trećoj vrsti rizika. Temeljem iskustva rada u Knjižnici i čitaonici „Fran Galović“ Koprivnica i upravljanja u uvjetima rizika kroz ovaj rad je dana problematika upravljanja te prikazano stanje u većini narodnih knjižnica kada se govori o upravljanju rizicima. Iz anketnih rezultata vidljivo je da je upravljanje rizicima u narodnim knjižnicama na niskoj razini svijesti i važnosti te da su znanja ravnatelja o postupanjima u takvim situacijama nedovoljna. Edukacije s aspekta upravljanja na razini knjižničarskog sustava u zemlji ne postoje, a svakako bi dobro došla u dijelu upravljanja rizicima, ali i ostalim područjima koja upravljanje uključuje.

Abstract (english)

The business of public libraries is rarely seen in the context of risk, whether it is natural disasters, business risks or some third type of risk. Based on the experience of working in the "Fran Galović" Library and Reading Room in Koprivnica and management in risk conditions, this paper presents the issues of management and shows the state of affairs in most public libraries when it comes to risk management. It is evident from the survey results that risk management in public libraries is at a low level of awareness and importance, and that the director's knowledge of actions in such situations is insufficient. Education from the aspect of management at the level of the library system in the country does not exist, and it would certainly be useful in the area of ​​risk management, but also in other areas that management includes.
