Abstract

Diplomski rad pod nazivom Vokalno zdravlje odgojitelja predškolske djece znanstveni je rad s metodičkom komponentom. Poremećaji glasa uobičajeno se dijele na organske i funkcionalne. Potonji poremećaji glasa najčešće su uzrokovani zloporabom glasa, učestalim vokalnim zamorom, tj. dugoročnim preopterećenjem vokalnoga aparata. S obzirom na to da odgojitelji u dječjim vrtićima višesatno govore u vrlo nepogodnim uvjetima koji uključuju visoku razinu buke, cilj je rada ispitati njihovo vokalno zdravlje te životne navike. Za potrebe utvrđivanja vokalnih poteškoća, odgojitelji su odgovorili na pitanja, sastavljena prema Indeksu vokalnih teškoća (Voice Handicap Indeks, Jacobson i sur., 1997.), kojima su se ispitale njihove vokalne, radne i životne navike. S obzirom na opterećenost vokalnoga aparata te otežane govorne uvjete u kojima odgojitelji u dječjim vrtićima rade, očekuje se postojanje određenih poremećaja glasa. Kroz metodičku komponentu rada predstavile su se vježbe za snaženje glasa te upute za njegu i zaštitu glasa. Istraživanje je prijavljeno Etičkome povjerenstvu Odsjeka za fonetiku Filozofskoga fakulteta Sveučilišta u Zagrebu.

Abstract (english)

The thesis titled Vocal health of preschool educators is a scientific work with a methodological component. Voice disorders are commonly divided into organic and functional categories. The latter are most often caused by vocal misuse, frequent vocal fatigue, or long-term overloading of the vocal apparatus. Given that educators in preschools speak for extended periods in very unfavorable conditions that include high levels of noise, the aim of this work is to examine their vocal health and lifestyle habits. To identify vocal difficulties, the educators answered questions based on the Voice Handicap Index (Jacobson et al., 1997), which examined their vocal, work, and lifestyle habits. Considering the strain on the vocal apparatus and the challenging speaking conditions under which preschool educators work, the existence of certain voice disorders is to be expected. The methodological component of the work presented exercises for strengthening the voice, as well as guidelines for the care and protection of the voice. This planned research is submitted to the Ethics Committee of the Department of Phonetics at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb.
