Abstract

U današnje vrijeme, društvene mreže postale su ključni prostor za interakciju, razmjenu informacija i izgradnju zajednica. Među njima, Instagram se ističe kao platforma koja ne samo da omogućuje dijeljenje sadržaja, već i oblikuje način na koji se informacije konzumiraju i percipiraju. Ovaj rad bavi se ulogom humora u digitalnoj komunikaciji na Instagramu i njegovim utjecajem na procese dijeljenja i primanja informacija u digitalnom okruženju. Počevši s teorijskim pregledom humora digitalne... More komunikacije, fokusiranog na rastuću važnost društvenih mreža poput Instagrama, analiziraju se svrha i karakteristike ove popularne platforme. Zatim se u kontekstu teorijskog okvira humora i pregleda dosadašnjih istraživanja navode različiti aspekti primjene humora na Instagramu, ilustrirani primjerima. Svrhe u koje se humor na Instagramu koristi mogu biti razne, poput stvaranja zabavnog sadržaja, reklamiranja proizvoda/usluga, poticanja na promišljanje o političkim pitanjima, informiranja, kreativnog izražavanja i slično. Na taj način se istražuje i kako humor može utjecati na angažman korisnika, prezentirajući primjere dobre prakse i uspješnih strategija. Na kraju rada, pružen je i osvrt na potencijalne rizike i opasnosti povezane s korištenjem humora na Instagramu, potičući na refleksiju o odgovornom korištenju ove komunikacijske strategije. Abstract (english)

In today's world, social media has become a crucial space for interaction, information exchange, and community building. Among these platforms, Instagram stands out as one that not only allows for content sharing but also shapes the way information is consumed and perceived. This paper explores the role of humor in digital communication on Instagram and impact on the processes of sharing and receiving information in the digital environment. Starting with a theoretical overview of humor and... More digital communication, focusing on the growing importance of social media platforms such as Instagram, the purpose and characteristics of this popular platform are analyzed. Then, within the context of the theoretical framework of humor and a review of previous research, various aspects of humor application on Instagram are illustrated with examples. The purposes for which humor is used on Instagram can be diverse, such as creating entertaining content, advertising products/services, encouraging reflection on political issues, informing, creative expression and more. In this way, the paper examines how humor can influence user engagement by presenting examples of good practices and successful strategies. Finally, the paper addresses potential risks and dangers associated with the use of humor on Instagram, encouraging reflection on the responsible use of this communication strategy. Through analysis, the paper provides a deeper understanding of the role of humor in digital communication on Instagram, contributing to a better comprehension of contemporary online interactions.
