Abstract

U radu će se opisati i klasificirati prijetnje informacijskim sustavima, kao i najčešće ili najučinkovitije metode zaštite. Istražit će se vrste alata kojima se provjerava sigurnost sustava i načini na koji se koriste. Definirat će se penetracijsko testiranje, opisati povijest njegovog nastanka te analizirati prednosti, nedostaci i njegova važnost u zaštiti računalnih sustava. Opisat će se različite metode koje se koriste za provjeru sigurnosti računalnih sustava te nabrojati i objasniti faze penetracijskog testiranja. Razvijeni su brojni alati koji automatiziraju i ubrzavaju pojedine faze testiranja, a u radu će se detaljnije analizirati Metasploit i pokazati na koji način se koristi za zaštitu sustava.

Abstract (english)

This paper will describe and classify threats to information systems, as well as the most common or effective methods of protection. It will explore the types of tools used to assess system security and how they are employed. Penetration testing will be defined, its history will be explored, and an analysis will be conducted on its advantages, disadvantages, and importance in safeguarding computer systems. Various methods used to verify computer system security will be described, along with a list and explanation of the phases of penetration testing. Numerous tools have been developed to automate and accelerate specific testing phases, with a detailed analysis of Metasploit provided in this paper to demonstrate its application in system protection.
