Abstract

Ovim radom analizirala se i prikazala antikomunistička djelatnost Međunarodne seljačke unije (MSU). Da bi to bilo moguće, izabrani su različiti primjeri iz Hladnoga rata o kojima je Međunarodna seljačka unija izrazila stav. Riječ je o reakcijama na: kolektivizaciju poljoprivrednog zemljišta u europskim državama u kojima su na vlasti bili komunisti, Konferenciju u Bandungu 1955. godine i osudu kolonijalizma, Mađarsku revoluciju 1956. godine i Praško proljeće 1968. godine. U radu su opisane i općenite informacije o MSU-u kao što je, npr. struktura organizacije i način financiranja koji nam daje uvid u povezanost sa SAD-om. Abstract (english)

This paper analyzed and presented the anti-communist activities of the International Peasant Union (IPU). In order to make this possible, various examples from the Cold War were chosen on which the International Peasant Union expressed its position. These are reactions to: the collectivization of agricultural land in European countries where communists were in power, the Bandung Conference in 1955 and the condemnation of colonialism, the Hungarian Revolution in 1956 and the Prague Spring in... More 1968. In addition, on the example of Yugoslavia, it is briefly shown what the criticism of a communist state by the members of the IPU looked like. The paper also describes general information about IPU, such as, for example, the structure of the organization and the method of financing, which gives us an insight into the connection with the USA. In addition, the role of IPU at the global level and in the context of political emigration after the Second World War was explained. Less
