Abstract

Die vorliegende Diplomarbeit beschäftigt sich mit dem Einsatz von Bilderbüchern im DaF-Unterricht in der Grundschule. Sie besteht aus einem theoretischen und einem empirischen Teil. Im theoretischen Teil werden die Literaturdidaktik, die Hauptmerkmale von Bilderbüchern, die Merkmale von Kindern in der mittleren Kindheit sowie die positiven Auswirkungen von Bilderbüchern auf die Entwicklung von Kindern behandelt. Der empirische Teil umfasst die Didaktisierung des Bilderbuchs Weißt du eigentlich,... More wie lieb ich dich hab? von Sam McBratney und die Beschreibung einer Aktionsforschung, in der das Bilderbuch als Unterrichtsmaterial eingesetzt wurde. Die Aktionsforschung wurde in zwei vierten Klassen einer Grundschule durchgeführt. Sie war so konzipiert, dass eine Klasse das Bilderbuch und den entsprechenden Wortschatz kennenlernt, während die andere Klasse den gleichen Wortschatz ohne das Bilderbuch erlernt. Es wurden drei Forschungsinstrumente eingesetzt: ein Wortschatztest, Fokusgruppen und eine Umfrage. Die Aktionsforschung bestätigt die Hypothesen, dass Bilderbücher den Wortschatz merklich erweitern und den Unterricht unterhaltsam bereichern. Less

Abstract (english)

This thesis deals with the use of picture books in German as a foreign language lessons in primary schools. It consists of a theoretical and an empirical part. The theoretical part deals with literature didactics, the main characteristics of picture books, the characteristics of children in middle childhood and the positive effects of picture books on the development of children. The empirical part covers the didacticization of the picture book Guess how much I love you by Sam McBratney and... More the description of an action research project in which the picture book was used as teaching material. The action research was carried out in two fourth grades of a primary school. It was designed so that one class gets to know the picture book and the corresponding vocabulary, while the other class learns the same vocabulary without the picture book. Three research instruments were used: a vocabulary test, focus groups and a survey. The action research confirms the hypotheses that picture books noticeably expand vocabulary and enrich lessons in an entertaining way. Less
