Abstract

Ovaj rad istražuje korisničko iskustvo (UX) na primjeru OPAC-a Knjižnica grada Zagreba koristeći metode upitnika, testiranja upotrebljivosti, praćenje pokreta očiju, AttrakDiff i korisničke persone. Cilj rada je istražiti korisničke interakcije, preferencije i izazove unutar okruženja online kataloga knjižnice. Rad započinje pregledom literature, definiranjem pojmova korisničkog iskustva, upotrebljivosti, OPAC-a i narodnih knjižnica. Istraživanje započinje upitnikom koji pomaže bolje upoznati korisnike, njihove navike i preferencije. Praćenje pokreta očiju nadopunjuje i pomaže u analizi korisničke pozornosti i obrazaca interakcije, pružajući uvid u učinkovitost vizualnog dizajna i izgleda. Testiranje upotrebljivosti provodi se kako bi se identificirali konkretni problemi s upotrebom sučelja, ocijenila efikasnost, učinkovitost i zadovoljstvo korisnika pri korištenju sustava. AttrakDiff, alat za procjenu percepcije korisnika o estetskim i hedonističkim kvalitetama sučelja, koristi se za dodatno razumijevanje kako korisnici doživljavaju atraktivnost i privlačnost OPAC-a. Osim toga, korisničke persone izrađene su tako da predstavljaju različite korisničke arhetipove. Kombiniranjem rezultata svih metoda, rad pruža sveobuhvatan uvid u korisničko iskustvo OPAC-a, s ciljem poboljšanja funkcionalnosti i zadovoljstva korisnika.

Abstract (english)

This paper investigates the user experience (UX) on the example of the Zagreb City Library OPAC using questionnaire methods, usability testing, eye movement tracking, AttrakDiff and user persona. The aim of the paper is to investigate user interactions, preferences and challenges within the online library catalog environment. The paper begins with a literature review, defining the concepts of user experience, usability, OPAC and public libraries. The research begins with a questionnaire that helps to get to know the users better, their habits and preferences. Eye Tracking complements and helps analyze user attention and interaction patterns, providing insight into the effectiveness of visual design and layout. Usability testing is carried out in order to identify specific problems with the use of the interface, to evaluate the effectiveness, efficiency and satisfaction of users when using the system. AttrakDiff, a tool for assessing users' perceptions of the aesthetic and hedonic qualities of an interface, is used to further understand how users perceive the attractiveness of OPACs. In addition, user persona is created to represent different user archetypes. By combining the results of all methods, the paper provides a comprehensive insight into the user experience of the OPAC, with the aim of improving functionality and user satisfaction.
