Abstract

Tema ovog rada je razvoj kritičkog mišljenja u nastavi srednjoškolskog predmeta Likovna umjetnost. U teorijskom dijelu rada predstavljena je važnost kritičkog mišljenja u životu pojedinca te su objašnjene osobine i vještine koje osoba mora posjedovati kako bi mogla kritički misliti. Teorijska razrada obilježja i značaja kritičkog mišljenja čini polaznicu za razumijevanje potrebe poučavanja kritičkog mišljenja te shvaćanja uloge nastavnika u tom procesu. U središnjem djelu ovog rada predstavljena je mogućnost i podatnost predmeta Likovna umjetnost u razvoju kritičkog mišljenja kod srednjoškolskih učenika. U drugom dijelu rada prikazani su rezultati istraživanja u kojem se ispitivalo iskustvo nastavnika o mogućnostima i specifičnostima poučavanja kritičkog mišljenja u redovitoj nastavi Likovne umjetnosti. Provedeno je kvalitativno istraživanje u kojemu je sudjelovalo 7 nastavnika likovne umjetnosti iz Grada Zagreba. Podaci su prikupljeni polustrukturiranim intervjuom. Rezultati istraživanja ukazali su na nastavnička iskustva koja pozitivno utječu na razvoj kritičkog mišljenja, a koja uključuju određene metode, sadržaje, metode vrednovanja, načine unapređenja prakse te izazove koji su povezani s poučavanjem za kritičko mišljenje.

Abstract (english)

The topic of this paper is the development of critical thinking in teaching visual arts through high school Visual art classes. The theoretical part of the paper presents the importance of critical thinking in an individual's life and explains the qualities and skills a person must possess to think critically. The theoretical analysis of the characteristics and significance of critical thinking serves as a foundation for understanding the need to teach critical thinking and the teacher's role in this process. The central part of this paper presents the potential and suitability of the Visual art class for developing critical thinking in high school students. The second part of the paper presents the results of a study that examined teachers' experiences regarding the possibilities and specificities of teaching critical thinking in Visual art classes. A qualitative study was conducted, involving seven high school art teachers from the City of Zagreb. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews. The research results indicated teaching experiences that positively impact the development of critical thinking, including specific methods, content, assessment methods, ways to improve practice, and challenges related to teaching for critical thinking.
