Abstract

Razvojem društava, te promjenama političkog i gospodarskog konteksta došlo je do promjena u rješavanju problema i nesuglasica unutar društvene strukture. Diplomacija je jedan od instrumenata za mirno rješavanje sporova i institucija međunarodnog poretka. S obzirom na činjenicu da je diplomacija neizostavni dio društvenog funkcioniranja, neophodno je dobiti uvid u promjene koje uzrokuje. Ključna pitanja rada odnose se na utjecaj diplomacije na samu društvenu strukturu, te na način i metode kojima se to postiže. Koncepti društvene strukture i sigurnosti bit će predstavljeni kroz relevantne teorijske pristupe. Također se prikazuje i društvena potreba za osnivanjem međunarodnih organizacija i saveza, a koja proizlazi iz percepcije sigurnosti i međuodnosa unutar zajednice. Da bi se pružio uvid u proces integracije članova europske zajednice, posebnu pozornost potrebno je pridati procesu europeizacije. Završno slijedi prikaz studije slučaja s naglaskom na implementaciju i provedbu politika EU u kontekstu RH.

Abstract (english)

Through the development of societies, changes in the political and economic context, there has been a change in problem solving and disagreements within social structures. Diplomacy is one of the instruments for the peaceful settlement of disputes and institutions of the international order. Given the fact that diplomacy is an indispensable part of social functioning, it is necessary to gain insight into the changes it causes. The key issues of the paper relate to the impact of diplomacy on the social structure itself, on the process and methods by which it is achieved. The concepts of social structure and security will be presented through relevant theoretical approaches. It also shows the social need to establish an organization and alliances, and which arises from the perception of security and interrelationships within the community. In order to provide insight into the process of integration of members of the European Community, special attention needs to be paid to the process of Europeanization. Finally, a case study is presented with an emphasis on implementation and enforcement of EU policies in the context of the Republic of Croatia.
