Abstract

Cilj ovoga rada je prikazati utjecaj efekta tipičnosti pri jezičnoj produkciji i percepciji kod pacijenata u prvoj epizodi i ranoj fazi psihotičnog poremećaja. Prvi dio rada je posvećen teorijskom okviru relevantnom za jezične deficite u psihozama. Teorijski dio započinje kraćim pregledom dosadašnjih istraživanja o psihozama i definicijom prve epizode i ranog tijeka psihotičnog poremećaja. S obzirom na to da je formalni poremećaj mišljenja jedan od simptoma shizofrenije, a još uvijek se ne zna je li to poremećaj jezika ili poremećaj mišljenja, nezaobilazan je fenomen u radu koji istražuje jezične deficite u psihozama. Efekt tipičnosti je ključan faktor kategorizacije koja je temeljni proces koji nam omogućava organizaciju semantičkih kategorija, odnosno poimanje i razumijevanje izvanjezičnog svijeta. Prema tome,efekt tipičnosti je neizostavan parametar pri jezičnoj obradi, a samim time i pri bilo kakvom psiholingvističkom istraživanju. U ovom radu provedeno je istraživanje leksičko-semantičke tipičnosti za leksičko-semantičke kategorije „domaće životinje“ i „alati“ te su ispitane jezična percepcija i jezična produkcija.

Abstract (english)

The aim of this paper is to show the influence of the typicality effect on language production and perception in patients in the first episode and early course of psychotic disorder. The first part of the paper is dedicated to the theoretical framework relevant to language deficits in psychosis. The theoretical part begins with a brief overview of previous research on psychosisand the definition of the first episode and the early course of a psychotic disorder. Given that formal thought disorder is one of the main symptoms of schizophrenia, and still it is not clear whether it is a language disorder or a thought disorder, it is an unavoidable phenomenon in a paper that investigates language deficits in psychosis. The effect of typicality is a key factor of categorization, which is a fundamental process that allows us to organize semantic categories, ie understanding and comprehending the extralinguistic world. Therefore, the effect of typicality is an indispensable parameter in language processing, and thus in any psycholinguistic research. The paper conducted a study of lexical-semantic typicality for the lexical-semantic categories "domestic animals" and "tools" and linguistic perception and production were examined.
