Abstract

In dieser Arbeit wird der Prozess der Erstellung des deutsch-kroatischen und kroatisch-deutschen Glossars der Feuerwehrbegriffe dargestellt, von der Extraktion der Begriffe aus bestimmten Quellen über die Verarbeitungsmethoden bis hin zu den Sprachproblemen bei der Übersetzung ins Deutsche.
Am Anfang dieser Arbeit ist außerdem ein historischer Überblick des deutschen und kroatischen Feuerwehrwesens enthalten, weil auch der historische Aspekt zum Verständnis der Fachterminologie notwendig ist.
Es werden drei Phasen der Bearbeitung und Übersetzung der Begriffe vorgestellt. Zuerst wurde die Hauptquelle zur Extraktion der kroatischen Begriffe ausgewählt.
Nachdem die Quelle für das Korpus definiert wurde, wurde mit der Verarbeitung und Übersetzung der Begriffe in die Zielsprache begonnen. Zur Auswahl von Begriffen und deren Verarbeitung wurde Sketch Engine, eine Software zur Analyse von Textkorpora, verwendet.
Anschließend wurde die Sprachproblematik bei der Übersetzung der Begriffe besprochen. Am Ende dieser Arbeit befindet sich das Glossar, das als Produkt dieser Arbeit entstanden ist.

Abstract (english)

In this thesis is presented the process of creating the German-Croatian and Croatian-German glossary of fire service terms, from the extraction of the terms from certain sources over the processing methods to the language problems when translating into German.
At the beginning of this thesis there is also a historical overview of the German and Croatian fire services, because the historical aspect is also necessary to understand the technical terminology.
There are presented three phases of editing and translating the terms.
The main source for extracting Croatian terms was selected first. After the source for the corpus had been defined, began the processing and translation of the terms into the target language. Sketch Engine, software for analyzing text corpora, was used to select and process the terms.
After that were discussed the language problems involved in translating the terms. At the end of this thesis is the glossary that was created as the product of this work.
