Abstract

U radu se analiziraju reprezentacije prostora u romanima Ferija Lainščeka i Kristiana Novaka. U uvodnom dijelu rada razrađuju se teorijske pretpostavke kulturne geografije i razmatranja prostora kako su ona formulirana u studijama Henrija Lefebvrea (društveni, apsolutni, apstraktni, diferencijalni i kontradiktorni prostor), Edwarda W. Soje (Trećeprostor), Michaela Foucaulta (utopija i hetrotopija). S osloncem na navedene teze, u središnjem dijelu rada analiziraju se prostorne komponente i izgradnja književnog prostora u sljedećim romanima: „Razdvojit ću pjenu od valova“, „Muriša“ i „Umjesto koga ruža cvjeta“ te „Črna mati zemla“ i „Ciganin, ali najljepši“. U završnom dijelu rada sumiraju se rezultati pojedinačnih analiza romana, s naglaskom na sličnosti i razlike u prikazivanju prostora u romanima Ferija Lainščeka i Kristiana Novaka.

Abstract (english)

The paper analyzes the representations of space in the novels of Feri Lainšček and Kristian Novak. The introductory part of the paper elaborates the theoretical assumptions of cultural geography and considerations of space as formulated in the studies of Henry Lefebvre (social, absolute, abstract, differential and contradictory space), Edward W. Soja (Third Space), Michael Foucault (utopia and heterotopia). Based on the above theses, the central part of the paper analyzes the spatial components and construction of literary space in the following novels: "Razdvojit ću pjenu od valova", "Muriša" and "Umjesto koga ruža cvjeta" and "Črna mati zemla" and "Ciganin, ali najljepši“. The final part of the paper summarizes the results of individual analyzes of the novels, with an emphasis on the similarities and differences in the presentation of space in the novels of Feri Lainšček and Kristian Novak.
