Abstract

Tehnologija ulančanih blokova disruptivna je tehnologija koja ima potencijal unaprijediti dosadašnje tradicionalne i zastarjele sustave. Iako je tehnologija ulančanih blokova trenutno pronašla najveću primjenu u svijetu financija i platnih sustava, mogućnosti tehnologije sežu mnogo dalje. Prednosti poput sigurnosti, anonimnosti, vjerodostojnosti i kontrole nad podacima nude drugačiji pristup problemima. Jedno od područja koje bi ulančani blokovi potencijalno mogli revolucionirati je područje visokog obrazovanja. Korištenjem ulančanih blokova u visokom obrazovanju može isporučiti nov način plaćanja školarine, napredne sustave akreditiranja, smanjenje birokracije i spriječiti bilo kakav oblik varanja. Danas već postoje obrazovne institucije koje su započele razvoj i implementaciju ulančanih blokova nad svojim sustavima te podižu razinu kvalitete obrazovanja. Rad donosi pregled dosadašnjeg napretka ulančanih blokova u području edukacije i prednosti koje tehnologija donosi i može donijeti daljnjim razvojem. U sklopu rada razvijen je osnovni sustav za kreditiranje nad Blockcert specifikacijama.

Abstract (english)

Blockchain technology is a disruptive technology that has the potential to improve existing traditional and outdated systems. Although blockchain technology is currently the most widely used in the world of finance and payment systems, the possibilities of the technology go much further. Benefits such as security, anonymity, credibility, and data control offer a different approach to standard problems. One area that blockchain could potentially revolutionize is higher education. Using blockchain in higher education can deliver a new way of paying tuition, advanced accreditation systems, cutting red tape and preventing any form of cheating. Today there are already educational institutions that have begun the development and implementation of blockchain technology over their systems and raise the level of quality of education. The paper provides an overview of the progress of blockchain in the field of education and the advantages that technology brings and can bring with further development. As part of the research, a basic system for issuing certificates over Blockcert specifications was developed.
