Abstract	Rad se bavi kriminalističkim romanima Bartola Fuchsa koji su ujedno i hrvatske adaptacije poznate engleske serije "Umorstva u Midsomeru". Uspoređujući hrvatsku i englesku verziju proučavamo u kojoj mjeri se pozivaju, a u kojoj parodiraju konvencije zlatnog doba engleskoga kriminalističkog romana te se rad također osvrće na fenomen globalne nostalgije i stvaranje nacionalnih mitova.
Abstract (english)	This work is describing the crime fiction novels of Bartol Fuchs. The said novels are a Croatian written adaptation of Midsomer Murders, a famous British TV-show. The comparison of Croatian and English versions also provides an insight to which extent are the English crime novel Golden Ages invoked, and to which extent are they mocked. The paper also researches the phenomenon of global nostalgia, as well as the creation of national myths.
